Who we are

The Latino Business Student Association, also known as LBSA, is a non-profit organization that strives for success. The purpose of this organization was founded with the central goal of advancing the educational and professional careers of its members. This goal is to be achieved through networking opportunities, leadership promotion, and development of skills to enhance each individual. LBSA also strives to nourish community engagement, primarily through outreach and service events. In conjunction with our central goal, it is the organization's belief that members will leave with a greater confidence, established network, and a heightened sense of community.

The organization is open to all majors and cultures at CSUF. Some benefits of our membership include scholarships, industry connections, mentorship program, access to our GroupMe chat, and a free LBSA T-Shirt. We have so many opportunities waiting for you, so come and join our familia!

Our members become leaders in the workforce and help move companies forward. We have alumni all over the world and at a wide variety of employers. Our alumni hold positions at workplaces like KPMG, Grant Thornton, PepsiCo, UPS, Kaiser Permanente and many more. Other alumni have gone on to start up their own ventures and others serve in roles at nonprofit organizations.

affiliations

The Latino Business Student Association at CSUF is part of other councils and associations that help us achieve the three pillars that include, professional development, leadership promotion, and community engagement.
Mesa Cooperativa de CSUF recognizes the need for the unity amongst the Chicanx/Latinx student organizations on campus.
The United Latino Students Association serves as an umbrella organization for Latino based organizations in universities across the State of California.
The Business Inter-Club Council is a Funding Council through the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton.
The Association for Inter-Cultural Awareness (AICA) is the part of Programming that plans events to highlight, celebrate, and educate students about culture and diversity. Through performances, showcases, festivals, and experiences that bring out a variety of culture based student organizations and campus departments, AICA gives students and the campus community the chance to come together to learn, grow, and appreciate one another. AICA also serves as a funding source for events hosted by culture based student organizations on campus.
